Developing Best Potential, SG Organize Talent Pool Program in Corporate Environment

Rembang, March 17, 2023 ­– PT Semen Gresik, as one of the leading cement companies in Indonesia, continued its commitment to improving the quality and capability of its employees through a Talent Pool Program, in order to face challenges and market competition in the future.

PTSG’s Head of the Department of HC & System Management, Ummi Sofiana, stated that the company sought to develop its best human capital (HC) in order to achieve its targets of robust work programs and strategic initiatives.

“The company has mapped out several strategic initiatives as flagship programs, which are the Talent Pool Program, Career Path, and the implementation of Akhlak Core Values,” she explained.

Ummi Sofiana also added that the Talent Pool Program focused on identifying and developing potential talents in the organization, as well as ensuring that the talents had opportunities to grow and reach their potential.

“It is aimed to be a map of talent development, that is prepared in such a way to be the succession management in key positions, so that the company’s performance may be maintained continuously and sustainably in line with the company’s objectives,” she confirmed.

Ummi Sofiana continued that the Talent Pool Program was conducted after every performance evaluation by the Department of HC for every employee in PT Semen Gresik. Every talent would be monitored for performance and selected according to standards applied by the company.

“With robust strategic initiatives and work programs, we hope to be able to support the company’s roadmap which aims to be the leader in the competitive cement industry in Indonesia and global markets,” he ended his statement.
